Police: Little Girl Uses Facebook To Save Overdosing Stepmother's Life

(Mount Morris Township, MI)  --  Police say a six-year-old girl likely saved the life of her stepmother by posting photos of the body of her dead father on Facebook.

Mount Morris Township police say the girl found her 40-year-old father's body Thursday morning, and say they found her 36-year-old stepmother unconscious after a relative in Tennessee saw the pictures and called Ingham County dispatch.

The woman is still hospitalized and has been unable to speak coherently yet with police.  MLive reports the little girl's father likely died from a drug overdose, as there were no signs of trauma on his body other than disfigurement caused by the family's dog after his death.
