(Houston, TX) -- Police are looking for the suspect in the fatal shooting of a Lamar High School student on Tuesday. Investigators say 18-year-old Delindsey Mack was attacked shortly after noon as he walked along Bammel Lane near the school with a 15-year-old girl.
A masked gunman shot him several times, then jumped into a car with two other people in it and got away. Police found the getaway car on Tuesday night in the Third Ward. Mack died at Ben Taub Hospital. Local witnesses say they believe the shooting was part of an ongoing gang war.
