A person is dead after a Mustang going to wrong-way on I-45 the North Freeway crashed into an 18-wheeler truck early Monday morning.
Police say the Mustang driver was driving southbound in northbound lanes of the North Freeway near FM 2920 around 2:30 a.m. Monday when the accident resulted in the Mustang being torn in half. It's driver, killed.
The truck driver was not injured.
Freeway lanes on the North Freeway remain closed while police investigate and crews clear the scene.
Main lanes on the southbound lanes are open.
