(Houston, TX) -- The scheduled debate between U.S. Senator Ted Cruz and Congressman Beto O'Rourke is being delayed.
Organizers in Houston announced the postponement of Sunday's debate today putting the blame on the confirmation hearing for Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
They're working on scheduling a new date for the event. The Republican Cruz and Democrat O'Rourke are in a tight race for Cruz' senate seat. Another debate is set for October 16th in San Antonio.
