New poll shows a country on edge because of politics

The rhetoric we have seen in our politics is dramatically impacting what you think about the future here in the United States.

According to the new poll from Rasmussen, 31% of all voters think we will have a Civil War sometime in the next five years while 59% of all voters are concerned that those opposed to President Trump's policies will resort to violence. Political analyst Jacquie Baly says this is because of the way the left has reacted to this President.

“The left is still angry, and in fact the more successful our President is, the angrier they become,” Baly said.

Houston Democratic strategist Mustafa Tameez tells KTRH says he thinks Baly and the right are over-dramatizing all of this.

“We’ve seen protests happen everywhere. No one has asked for violence. People have, though, asked for civil disobedience,” Tameez stated.

But it was Democrats like Maxine Waters saying just last week that the left should confront Trump Administration members wherever they saw them.
