Baby Boomers blamed for Millennials problems

Some Millennials are blaming Baby Boomers for some of their problems, like college loans, two wars and a work environment that’s not stable, according to a new Axios/SurveyMonkey poll.

Syracuse University Pop Culture professor Robert Thompson said usually current problems stem from the past.

“Kids growing up and coming of age in the 1920s, I’m sure had some complaints about the results of the first World War and the fact that alcohol was illegal,” said Thompson.

He said both generations are vying for political power to decide how resources are allocated. For example, the older generation needs government help for Social Security and Medicare.

“People who are in their 20s have very different kinds of needs for governmental resources than people who are in their 70s,” said Thompson.

According to the recent survey, Baby Boomers were found to manage their money better than Millennials.

Generation X, which seems to be often ignored, wasn't happy with the boomers, either.
