A suspect is dead after an officer-involved shooting in the Greater Greenspoint neighborhood, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
The deputy is uninjured.
The incident unfolded Thursday afternoon in the area of Greens Road and Imperial Valley Drive inside city limits in northern Harris County.
The gunfire was at about 1 p.m. Thursday.
The suspect was injured and died at a hospital later, according to the HCSO.
The Houston Police Department is investigating the shooting.
