TX Sales Tax Revenue Hits $2.6B

Texas is still raking in big bucks in sales tax revenue.  Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced today the state took in over two-and-a-half-billion-dollars in February, mostly through business pending.

It's an almost nine-percent jump from this time last year.  Oil and natural gas production taxes brought in over 441-million, with motor vehicle and rental taxes at almost 422-million.
