People Quitting Jobs at Highest Rate in 17 Years

Some professionals may have lost the love when it comes to their job.

The latest JOLTS Report show that more than 3.3 million workers voluntarily quit their jobs in December. That’s a 17-year high. Also, a survey from staffing firm Accountemps found that 29 percent of professionals plan to look for a new job this year.

The top reasons people love their jobs, according to the Harvard Business Review:

--They find their work enjoyable (31 percent).

--They use their strengths more often (33 percent).

--They expressed confidence in gaining new skills (37 percent).
