You know the old saying, “Don’t believe everything you read.” Apparently that’s exactly what a lot of you are doing. You no longer trust the mainstream media.
A new study found only 15% of President Trump’s supporters said they had any trust in the mainstream media these days. Dan Gainor at the Media Research Center told KTRH the mainstream media continues to be exposed.
“They’ve had a monopoly on out time for decades. And now because of the internet, we get to see all of the stuff that goes on behind the scenes,” Gainor explained.
And Gainor says all the fake news stories we've seen over the last year has caused him to stop trusting sources he used to trust.
“There was a time that I would look at the Washington Post and consider it a fact filled liberal paper. Now I can’t even say that,” Gainor stated, adding that because of that, it's a scary place to be when you can't trust major media anymore.
