Deputies in the Harris County Precinct One Constable’s office arrested a man accused of stealing from homes that had been damaged by Hurricane Harvey.
Authorities say Richard McDonald is linked to two specific burglaries, but they believe he is behind “numerous” thefts.
Homeowners claim they had jewelry and firearms stolen from their homes. McDonald has reportedly been linked to the stolen jewels, but no guns.
The suspect denies any wrongdoing.
