The left continues to push back against President Donald Trump’s border wall proposal. And you won’t believe how they’re doing it.
One lawmaker in California wants a law that would penalize companies looking to help the President build the wall. Elizabeth Theiss at Stop the Magnet, a Houston anti-illegal immigration group, says she's not surprised.
“I think we’re seeing a new kind of fascism modeled around the open borders agenda,” Theiss said.
And she says it's not just lawmakers; some in law enforcement are bucking what Trump wants, too.
“Refusal to support our law; what we have in Travis County going on,” Theiss stated.
That county's Sheriff, Sally Hernandez, following through on a campaign promise to not cooperate with detainer requests from ICE.
