Some say Americans' days of feasting on burgers and fries are numbered. One analyst claims, of the fast food burger chains, only McDonald’s will be among the nation's top five fast food joints by the year 2020.

Houston food blogger Jodie Eisenhardt says there is a trend away from McDonald's, Burger King and Wendy's.

"We're fussier about the way things taste; we're fussier about the way things are made and where our food comes from and the quality of it."

But Eisenhardt says this isn't necessarily bad news for Texas beef producers.

"People are more likely to go to Five Guys or one of the chains that has a higher quality burger so I don't see us eating less beef."

An industry analyst says places like Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A and Chipotle will be more popular than fast food burger joints soon.

"That 'fast casual' category that's sort of somewhere between a restaurant and a drive-through is going to impact the market as well. So I think it's just becoming more competitive and people are becoming fussier."
