The manager of a local Home Depot is lending a helping hand to Habitat for Humanity.
After the Fort Bend Chapter of the organization was robbed earlier this week at a Richmond jobsite, assistant manager Eric Bosley tells our TV partner Local-2 he allowed representatives of the organization to replace thousands of dollars’ worth of missing equipment from his store.
Thieves broke into a storage shed on Thursday, taking off with air compressors and other construction equipment. A Habitat spokesperson said the losses would force them to postpone construction on new homes until they could afford to replace the equipment.
Thanks to the efforts of the home improvement chain, construction is back on schedule and will resume September 14th.
